Redrow Homes Ltd is progressing a planning application at land to the south of Bedworth Road to secure approval for 95 new homes.

A 17-day community consultation period is being held by Holland Lloyd on behalf of Redrow Homes, and we welcome your feedback. Simply complete the online form by 17 August 2021.

Your comments will be considered before the submission of a planning application and will be included within a Statement of Community Involvement submitted to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.

The Proposal

A formal planning application will be submitted to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to deliver 95 new homes, public open space and associated works.

The proposal forms part of a larger area of land allocated for housing development in the Local Plan. The strategic allocation consists of three parcels, which will deliver 495 dwellings. This community consultation only relates to the parcel brought forward by Redrow Homes south of Bedworth Road.

By forming part of the strategic allocation, the principle of residential development in this location has been considered acceptable through the local planning process. This consultation and application relate to matters of detail and not the principle of residential development on the site.

The proposal will include:

• 95 new homes, which includes a mix of 1-4 bedroom units.
• 24 affordable homes, in the form of rented homes and shared ownership.
• Public open space (including a children’s play area).
• Landscaping and new planting
• Sustainable drainage solutions and a balancing pond.
• Wider community benefits through financial contributions, including off-site open space and leisure, health and sustainable transport.
